Rubbing elbows

We visited St. Clement's Anglican Episcopal church this morning. The church is on the other side of the river from us, just at the edge of Old Town. It was built in the early 1700's, and is fairly small compared to some of the other church buildings in Prague.

As it happened, St. Clement's had other visitors today!




Yes, Prince Charles and Camilla were also in attendance. We arrived early enough to be seated directly behind the royal party. It was an amazing experience - seeing someone so famous as part of a normal congregation.

There were a few things that struck me as I gazed at the Prince- one- he (and Camilla) looked a lot older than I had expected them to, and two- they are just as human as the rest of us!
