Getting out and about

On Saturday, we braved the windy cold weather and went out to dinner with our friends, Mabelle and Jim. Unfortunately for us, this was a bittersweet outing because Jim and Mabelle are moving back to the US this week.

We had dinner at a nice restaurant called Louis Armstrong's. The food is good, reasonably priced, and we love the atmosphere. Anything below-grade with bricks, arches and little rooms, candles and antiques, makes us happy.

Then it was on to the Royal Oak pub for some live country western music. Sam, pictured below, bought Jim's guitar, and we all wanted to hear how it would sound. Sam has a great repertoire of the old-style Texas country songs. No Garth Brooks!!

Future entertainment for the Czech Inn or Mosaic House??

We had a good time, and will probably head back to the pub for their blues night!!
