Waiting for Serendipity

Getting through the winter is always a challenge, and now that the holidays are behind us, we are doing a few long overdue projects around the house. Tom changed the wallpaper in the powder room for me, and he is doing some wiring to add a few new outlets (technology is great-but all those electronic gadgets generate a tangle of cords!) Next up for him is painting the kitchen and main bath.




Cyndy was blessed with a business trip to Miami last week. It was nice to see that the sun actually does shine somewhere in January! It was warm enough to swim every night in the hotel pool, and to enjoy the outdoor patio. We were treated to some magnificent meals - I think the macadamia nut encrusted mahi-mahi was my favorite. I spotted a couple of marinas, but none looked right for our little boat. I guess we'll just have to wait for our April launch date.
