Spring Tease
The pundits in our area always say: "If you don't like the weather, wait a while. It will change." Today was a perfect example of that. We had been having warm temperatures (upper 40s F) for a little over a week. Although it was raining quite hard, and was very dark and gloomy, the temperature was 45 this AM when I drove by the bank. By early afternoon, the temperature had dropped into the 20s, and we had an inch of snow on the ground again. Just when you begin to think that maybe the global warming theorists are right (and we sure wouldn't mind that), Mother Nature pulls a fast one and we are jolted back to winter.
Ah well, one can always dream- and remember. Scenes like this are all the sweeter after a long cold winter!

This was a sunset photo of us heading out to sea, so to speak. Our marina is on Cayuga Lake, which is over 30 miled long and a couple of miles wide in some spots. It is also over 400 foot deep in a few places.
