Signs of Spring?

I know it is only mid-January, but we are already in the midst of mud season! We have had temperatures well above freezing this past week, along with some rain, so the snow has all melted. In the mornings on my way to work I am hearing melodic birdsong, and even the bunny is acting differently - he comes into the living room and runs in circles and does a few jumps :-). Dare we think spring is around the corner?

The florists have switched from evergreens, holly and heather to tulips, hyacinths, cyclamen and primroses..........

Most appreciated was this swath of green grass.....

Please, don't anyone read the extended forecast and burst my bubble!!
