Landlord's nightmare

This is what happens if a tenant asks if they can paint- and the landlord doesn't qualify the "yes" answer!

Unfortunately, shortly after these tenants did such an admirable job painting, they decided they could no longer afford the rent and we had to find new tenants for this apartment. (It's the upstairs at 88 Homer Ave.)

Tom repainted this living room - traditional landlord white.


This is the bedroom - And yes, those walls are black!

It's hard to see in this photo, but they really did a wonderfully creative job with the paint- the paddles on the ceiling fan are painted to match, and even the electrical outlets got the pink & black treatment. Luckily, the new tenants decided they liked it- so this room stays!
