Halloween!

What a perfect day yesterday for Halloween festivities.

It was warm and sunny, and the village of Groton was decked out in full for this fun event. The village sponsored a scarecrow contest, and Tom & I strolled down Main Street where the scarecrows are displayed.

I was well prepared this year with several bags of candy, and although we had many trick-or-treaters, WE HAVE LEFTOVERS! This is not good- we are already trying to come down from the sugar we consumed last night- you know, when you pass out candy to a group you have to eat one (or maybe three) yourself! We are definitely going to have to donate our leftovers to Tom's office colleagues.
