This bird has a real problem! He (looks like a male, I guess) sits on the tenant's metal satellite dish and hammers away all day long. You can hear him half a block away. Does anyone know what kind of woodpecker he is?
We have a bird book. I think this is either a Downy Woodpecker or a Hairy Woodpecker - interesting tip, both birds will drun on resonant surfaces in spring as part of courtship.
Many, many years ago, Tom had the opportunity to live for a time in NYC. Cyndy spent one of her college semesters in Europe. Each has always wanted to be able to relive those exciting youthful experiences- and now we can! Join us as we experience big city life in a beautiful European city -Prague, CZ.
