Fried Green Tomatos!
Why weren't these a part of our family's heritage? I had my first ever fried green tomatos on Saturday, and boy were they yummy!!
Thanks to our neighbors Judy and Connie for cooking up and sharing such a wonderful treat!

That's awesome! Mike just made some fried green tomatoes when our very first tomatoes started to come in on the vine. I, of course, tried to turn my nose up, but Mike made me promise to at least try them. And, I found out they were good!! and that I need to stop being so closed minded.
Richard made some this year also for the first time. He did not enjoy them that much but I thought they were wonderful.
