Tomorrow we will gather with family and friends and reflect on all that we have to be thankful for.

We have received many blessings over the years, not the least of which are our family and friends spread throughout the world. We wish we could be with you all.

Joining in on home improvrments

We were feeling a little left out after reading about Susan and Rob's, and Rich and Diane's home improvement projects.

Not to worry, our landlord came to the rescue! He had an opportunity to replace all our windows, and asked us if we would mind if he did. We said no problem.

After waiting all fall, we got word that the replacement would be today. Luckily, the rain stopped this AM and it warmed up to about 40. The crew arrived along with our landlord, and went to work.

Out with the old!!

Elliot came to supervise ... he's looking at "boom booms" (fireworks) on the computer...

Late morning.....

Oh, and all the windows in the bedrooms were gone too.....

They look nice, but there is no glass there...

Remember, it's about 40 outside.....

Still no glass.....

Finished!!! and much sooner than I thought. All packed up and gone by 6:30.

Now on to cleaning up......

nibble, nibble

OK - I read about this, heard it was outlawed in the US, and saw it for myself in Prague! These people are sitting with their feet in a fish tank, letting those nice little fishies nibble away all the dead skin.

Yuck!!!

Owen's cool party

On Saturday, Owen invited all his school friends to a birthday bash at the Mosaic House!

How cool is that to have your name featured on the marquee??

It was an Ironman party, and Mom and Dad acted out the Ironman story - a very abbreviated version :-). The kids loved it!


Kids jumping on those new bench seats? Crawling under the tables, leaping from bench to bench? Putting greasy fingerprints on the glass doors and mirrors? Amidst the chaos, Chris is keeping his cool!!

Lots of loot for the birthday boy.....

Heaps of chicken fingers and fries.....

Playing musical statues- the ones who got "out" early don't seem to mind- those benches are calling........
